The Rest

God created man for a purpose, his coming to earth is not just to fill the earth and remain on it but to live a life that he has created it for. Man was given authority and dominion over the earth; God delegated his power unto him and made him the head over all things he had created and he (God) decided to rest and placed someone like him (man) created in his image to work until he enters his final rest just as God rested. God's plan for man failed due to disobeying the instructions God gave to him not to eat from the fruit of a tree in the Garden of Eden and the devil gained mastery and influence over man but God in his mercy sent his son to redeem mankind from his falling state. God wants to revive man again because man is long in deep sleep though he is awake, he wants to make himself known to man but man has allowed himself to be so busy with his activities that he is not conscious of God or his presence; he wants to make himself known to man in a greater dimension but man has resolved to live a life of sin which he hates, he has decided to follow his own path and neglected the path of God, the way of God and to follow his own way. This revival is to enable us to bring men unto God, to reawaken those who are asleep to continue the process of salvation to all those who have lost their way. We were saved to save others and we will be selfish if we don't share the salvation story to others. The world is full of lost people, who don't know their way, they have neglected the path of God and feel their actions are right, they live their life as they would and not as God wants. God worked and rested, he came back again through his son to redeem an from his falling state to revive him from the state of their fathers so they can enter the new covenant he his about to bring them in and after he left earth, he allowed his spirit to reign in man and revealed himself again through the Holy Spirit; God is triune (God the father, the son and the spirit); he has revealed this different dimension to man to help him live a life that glorifies God and his pleasing to him. Man needs to wake up and focus on God so that God can bring about the desired result he wants for man. Man has a role to play to make himself effective in this life and to leave a legacy on earth as he continues to share the gospel of God and to make sure he is able to work for God and walk with him, leaving a lasting impact that generations yet unborn can tell of and walk in.
