Astral Seascaper

Solstice Dayton messes with physics, and it gets pissed, which is unfair but on-brand for this universe. She searches the galaxy's alternate reality for allies in the looming Seven Clan Civil War, but only a select few can jump between star systems without permanent damage. Not everyone is an immortal sun deity with a dusk singularity at the center of their epileptic brain. Most people aren't. When you leave the slipstream without using a jump point, your brain basically explodes. It's fatal, and honestly, difficult to clean off the decking in the ship's cargo bay. In book 3 of Solstice Dayton and The Rising Sun, not everyone is who they once were. Generations have passed in a flash, and Solstice has to team up with the grandchildren of her closest friends to challenge the return of the Fire Clan. Those were the guys who burned Earth in the first series just because they prefer their carbon-based food reduced to ash. Last time, they had a few ships. This time, they packed an armada. But Solstice has got sunray fingers and the fastest and pointiest ship in the galaxy. So there's that. Fans of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant won't be able to get enough of The Astral Seascaper, a young adult science fiction fantasy where anything that can happen probably will. Like the solitaires have matches that dictate who's supposed to couple up with who, but only one set of teens is paired correctly. Is love stronger than magic gemstones fired in the sun? Space opera or a soap opera, only a strong heroine can lead the superpowered teens through this coming-of-age, action-packed alien survival adventure with exoplanet surfing. Will Solstice unite old friends and new ones to take on the Ferocity, or will the whole thing go spectacularly sideways? Maybe a bit of both? Read the young adult dystopian apocalyptic fantasy science fiction series today.
