Jahrhunderts seine Jugend erlebt hat und damals zeitgenössischen Denkern wie Francis Galton (1822–1911), einem Cousin Darwins, und Herbert Spencer (1820–1903) aufgesessen ist. Nun, im 21. Jahrhundert, korrigiert er seine damaligen Irrtümer und beschreibt, dass sein Denken nunmehr eher auf » Skepsis denn auf Gewissheiten« beruht. Durch dieses erfahrene Medium verkündet das Critical Art Ensemble eine ernste Warnung: Gegenwärtig zirkulieren Rhetoriken, die ähnlich problematische Argumentationsmuster aufweisen wie die Evolutionstheorien von damals. Das aktuelle Grundproblem hat zwei Ebenen: Erstens werden die Gründe für eine » Krankheit« stets auf das Subjekt oder eine »anfällige « Bevölkerungsgruppe geschoben, zweitens wird durch diese verleumderische Politik der Symptombekämpfung der Blick auf die tatsächlichen Ursachen verstellt.
