Critical Cognitive Linguistics

Critical Cognitive Linguistics is a cross-study between Critical Discourse Studies and Cognitive Linguistics, which is both a branch of Critical Discourse Studies and a branch of Cognitive Linguistics. This book systematizes the main ideas and theoretical framework of critical cognitive linguistics, and explores its application value and scope, which not only makes an important contribution to the "e;social turn"e; of cognitive linguistics, but also provides a strong new impetus for the vigorous development of critical discourse studies. The book consists of fifteen chapters, divided into two main parts. The first part is a theoretical overview, including chapters 1 to 6, in which the first chapter outlines the position and research methodology of critical cognitive linguistics in the whole critical discourse research, and chapters 2 to 6 comprehensively review and explain the main viewpoints and theoretical framework of critical cognitive linguistics. The second part is a case study, including Chapters 7 to 15, Chapters 7 to 14 are applied studies of the theory, and Chapter 15 explores the challenges and research trends and recommendations facing critical cognitive linguistics.
