The role of public diplomacy is important and complementary to supporting the official position of the state and assisting it in completing its tasks. The media still has an important role at home and abroad that it must play in clarifying, confronting and addressing the rumors, obstacles, problems and crises that the Arab region suffers from. The media internally addresses, guides, explains, refutes and presents a conscious message without exaggeration, cheering or threatening. Rather, its role works to create a conscious, sound, enlightened and cohesive public opinion to support decision-makers in different situations and in multiple directions. On the international level, the media also plays a crucial role in public diplomacy by addressing the elite, decision-makers, various sectors of the state, and public opinion across all its segments. This involves clarifying and highlighting critical positions and the Egyptian perspective, working to persuade and encourage its adoption, and transforming opponents into supporters of the state's stance, its issues, and its adopted approaches and opinions on all emerging matters. The media's role extends beyond this, as it works to enhance, support, and cultivate a positive image of the country, presenting a truthful, objective, and balanced media portrayal. This is especially important given that ensuring a positive media image of Egypt, both domestically and internationally, remains a paramount concern for specialists, researchers, and all those involved.
