Seasons of Reverence

Seasons of Reverence radiates with the beauty of the Great Plains and nature's extravagant language and music. These poems capture earth's loveliness and the joy and sorrows of Lorenzen and her family in their everyday lives, raising sons, farming, watching middle school football games, waiting with hope through a son's terminal diagnosis, visiting granddaughters, and feeling gratitude for her ordinary life. She considers what this earth is revealing through all of this beauty lavished upon all and knows life is a generous gift.
