Zudem führen Studentenarbeiten der EPFL Lausanne die Beschäftigung mit dem Bürogebäude in neue Projekte über. Seinen Titel bezieht das Buch aus der Auseinandersetzung mit dem ebenfalls abgedruckten Essay "Typical Plan" aus dem Buch "S, M, L, XL" von Rem Koolhaas.
