This book is one volume in the "Academic Heritage Series of Renowned Physicians of Shanghai Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital," introducing the medical career, academic perspectives, and clinical experience of Zhu Songyi, a renowned physician at Shanghai Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital. Zhu Songyi is a renowned Shanghai TCM physician. He studied under Du Shaogu, a famous physician in Wuxi, and is the third-generation inheritor of the Jiangnan Du's Surgery School. He is renowned in Shanghai, Wuxi, Jiangyin, Changzhou, and other areas for his expertise in treating conditions such as multiple deep abscesses (liuzhu), cold abscesses (liutan), occipital carbuncle (naoju), back carbuncle (fabei), nape carbuncle (duikou), furuncle (dingchuang), acute mastitis (ruyong), and intestinal abscess (changyong).
