Historically, leftwing accounts of injustice focused primarily on economic harms, such as poverty, exploitation, and inequality. Recently, however, with the collapse of Communism and the rise of identity politics, attention has turned toward cultural harms, such as cultural imperialism, "misrecognition," and disrespect.
