After The Storm

The novel, After the Storm, follows two couples, Scott and Dana and Anthony and Ariel, who are familiar with the statement, "There is a time and season for everything." Now in their thirties, however, they begin to wonder about their own season. They had faith that God could bring it to pass, but they also had a fear of repeating the mistakes of their friends. They knew that they were not exempt because they, too, had experienced disappointments, heartbreak, and a cancelled wedding. Despite what they had witnessed, however, the two couples decide to follow their hearts.

While Scott and Dana, the best of friends, are separated by miles, they realize that embedded in the friendship they had enjoyed for years was a yearning to be much more than friends. When they overcome their fear of love, they confess their love and get married.

Anthony and Ariel had known each other since elementary school. They always 'knew' they would grow up, get married and live happily ever after. Heartbreak and anger disrupt their destiny for a season. In the end, their repentance and forgiveness pave the way for revival of the relationship and the beginning of a loving and happy marriage.
