Auch in der Fachliteratur zum Spritzgießen wird die Gestaltung des Angusssystems und dessen Bedeutung oftmals nur am Rande behandelt. Diese Informationslücke wird mit dem Buch "Auslegung von Anguss und Angusskanal", das nun erstmals in deutscher Übersetzung vorliegt, geschlossen.Zunächst werden die rheologischen Eigenschaften der Kunststoffschmelze anschaulich und praxisnah erläutert. Schritt für Schritt entstehen daraus Strategien für die Gestaltung des Angusssystems und der Anschnittposition. Das Buch beschreibt präzise und detailliert die zahlreichen Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten bei Kaltkanal- und Heißkanalsystemen. Damit bietet es dem Leser eine unabhängige Betrachtung von Heiß- und Kaltkanalsystemen, ohne ein Urteil zu fällen, welches System sich am besten für eine bestimmte Anwendung eignet.
