We figured our on-field access would be something Rome might want to exploit and we wanted to make it absolutely clear what we were capable of. In Anaheim: The Yankees were doing calisthenics, and though I doubt Derek realized it, I was a few feet away from him for nearly forty-five minutes. Finally an opportunity presented itself.
