Between Bound Covers

Alexandra, a brilliant doctoral candidate at Harvard University, finds her academic future jeopardized when her personal life starts to collide with her education. Desperate to succeed academically and distract herself from the ghosts that haunt her, she agrees to a "fun night out" with her best friend, Lydia. While Lydia enjoys herself, Alexandra finds herself trapped in playful banter with a mysterious stranger. Unbeknownst to her, that night and that stranger would be a catalyst that changed the rest of her life.

As the pressure of her academic career mounts, the cracks in her personal life begin to show. Her long-term boyfriend, a star athlete and campus golden boy, starts becoming less and less enticing the more mesmerised she becomes by the mysterious Art and Literature head. The further she pulls away from her boyfriend, the closer she gets to her professor, and this tug of war within her quickly leads to her doing things and becoming someone she never would have anticipated. She finds herself signing secret contracts, sneaking into secret library alcoves, and sharing parts of herself she never would have thought she'd share with the last person on earth she would have shared with.

Feeling isolated and struggling to balance her studies with her developing and conflicting feelings for her professor, Alexandra begins to uncover anomalies in Harvard's perfectly curated image. She soon discovers that the ones she thought she could trust and depend on the most, were nothing more than self-serving manipulators. Alexandra must decide how much she is willing to sacrifice for her degree before the contract she signed claims more than just her career.
