In 2002, Steve Arnold became the first African American head basketball coach in the history of Warren City Schools. The moment was significant, but the results mattered more.
Over ten seasons, his teams posted a staggering 191-40 record and reached the Final Four, reshaping expectations for what was possible in the community that raised him.
