Burning Daylight

BURNING DAYLIGHT

An Action Thriller

The ambush is only the beginning. The real enemy is waiting in the shadows.

Brill Wingfield has one job: protect a U.S. senator operating in the middle of a high-stakes international oil deal. Working off the books, the former ghost operative is supposed to identify a security leak and keep the negotiations on track.

Then the convoy enters a narrow desert gorge.

A missile obliterates the lead vehicle. Machine guns open fire from the ridgelines. The local military escort turns against the Americans, and Brill realizes the attack is no improvised act of terrorism. It is a carefully engineered assassination backed by forces with access to military-grade weapons, electronic warfare technology, and intelligence from inside the operation.

With Senator Evelyn Hayes and her surviving staff trapped in the Sahara, Brill must fight his way through a merciless desert where the heat can kill as efficiently as a bullet. Rebel gun trucks are closing in. A monstrous sandstorm threatens to bury them alive. Their communications are dead, their vehicles are failing, and every escape route leads deeper into enemy territory.

But the conspiracy reaches far beyond the desert.

Billions of dollars in offshore oil rights are at stake, and a powerful international energy consortium has decided that diplomacy is no longer necessary. With a secret treaty already in motion and professional assassins determined to eliminate every loose end, Brill faces a deadline that could determine the fate of the senator-and expose a conspiracy reaching into the highest levels of international power.

There is no cavalry coming.

No safe extraction. No friendly territory. No second chances.

Only one man who knows how to survive when everything goes wrong-and who understands that getting his people out alive may be the easy part.

In the burning daylight of the Sahara, survival is a mission. Bringing the truth home is a war.

BURNING DAYLIGHT is a relentless action thriller packed with covert operations, desert warfare, international intrigue, ruthless mercenaries, and a battle against the clock. Perfect for readers who love hard-hitting military action, high-stakes conspiracies, and unstoppable operatives fighting impossible odds.
