This book presents a study dedicated to the decontamination of water polluted by heavy metals, based on the use of a newly synthesized Schiff base ligand. The approach adopted is based on the complexation properties of this ligand, enabling efficient capture of metal ions in aqueous solution.Experimental results highlight the ligand's remarkable ability to act as a chelating agent.
