Cornish Sunset

In April 1862, Amanda Harrison and Eloise Tully leave the comforts of London for Cornwall, drawn by Eloise's charming, impulsive fiancé, Richard Wilkinson, and the promise of a seaside holiday that will secure their future. Cornwall, however, is not London. Once the last train stop slips behind them, the distance feels less like an adventure and more like a warning.

As Eloise grows restless and fearful of the life Richard seems to want, Amanda does what she has always done. She smooths edges, solves problems, and tries to make an unfamiliar place feel safe. In lantern-lit evenings, on wind-whipped cliffs, and along the shimmering waters of St. Ives Bay, Amanda begins to see Richard with unsettling clarity: warm, protective, and far more attentive to her than either of them expected.

Love, though, refuses to stay neatly in its assigned place. When loyalties shift and unspoken truths rise to the surface, Amanda faces a choice that could cost her everything. She can protect the bond she shares with Eloise, or she can risk it for a future she never allowed herself to imagine.
