Auf dieses neuere TV-Format setzten vor allem Privatsender wie etwa Puls4 und ATV. Während früher für Serien der Nachmittag oder frühe Abend reserviert war, finden sich mittlerweile zur "Prime Time" um 20:15 Uhr Dokusoaps wie etwa "Tausche Familie Reloaded" (Dienstag, 25.3. um 20:25 Uhr auf ATV). Woher kommt dieser Trend? Wer hat "Scripted Reality" erfunden? Welchen Marktwert hat dieses Reality-Format im Gegensatz zu fiktionalen Serien oder Spielfilmen?§Neben der Untersuchung von Quoten und Marktrelevanz soll in der Arbeit auch eine Art Sozialstudie durchgeführt werden. Wie reagieren die Zuschauer auf das lebensnahe Fernsehprogramm?§Zu Scripted Reality gibt es viele und vor allem negative Meinungen. Ich möchte in dieser Arbeit kein pro und contra aufstellen, sondern nur das Phänomen und dessen Entstehen an sich untersuchen und ökonomisch auswerten.
