Welche Fähigkeiten können den Spracherwerb vorbereiten und überhaupt erst ermöglichen und welche Rolle spielt dabei die soziale Umwelt des Kindes? Stellt diese nur einen motivierenden Motor dar oder besitzt sie eine spezifische sprachlehrende Funktion? Die Auseinandersetzung mit solchen Teilfragen ermöglicht eine Annäherung an die übergeordnete Frage nach Voraussetzungen für einen erfolgreichen Spracherwerb. Im Folgenden werde ich auf die unterschiedliche Aspekte wie kognitive und sozial-kognitive Voraussetzungen für den Erwerb von Sprache, sowie auch sozial-kommunikative Zusammenhänge eingehen. Letztere umfassen verschiedene Aspekte der speziell an die Kinder gerichteten Sprache.In einem abschließenden Fazit werden die wichtigsten Ergebnisse noch einmal zusammenfassend aufgeführt.
