It's the current day, and renowned historical preservation architect Amanda Bresnan works and lives in New York City. Amanda's search for a client leads her to an auction warehouse treasure trove. She gets more than she expected when she discovers that her ex-fiancé, Jason, is the owner. Unknowingly, he leads her on a whirlwind journey after she discovers that the stained glass from Hayden House is going on the auction block.

The charred glass had been sitting idle in a carriage house owned by Sea Mist in Newport, Rhode Island. Some say the glass wept at night, while others say she must breathe light, while others stay away.

             Amanda's peculiar encounters with Lavinia, a new intern in her office, send her into a bygone era, landing her in Eastport, North Carolina. This opens her mind and heart, causing her to plunge into a world of haunting visions.

With her intuitive-psychic mother, Lillian, and her architect father, Lincoln, leading the way, they will embark on a tumultuous journey. Her accidental encounter with Ryan, owner of a marina, will further expose the wounds of the past.

           Is the stained glass cursed? Will allowing the sunlight to pass through it again wake it up, or was it best left silent?
