Emptied

Have you ever felt like you were searching for your worth in the things of this world? "Maybe the next degree or promotion will make me worthy of love." Destiny spent many years thinking that love was earned, yet deep down she didn't feel valuable. At 27-years-old Destiny realized she was broken and had no true understanding of her identity in Christ. She had done all the things, yet she still felt empty. This led to many nights where she'd cry because instead of being whole, she felt a void within. Emptied is a collection of Holy Spirit infused poems that Destiny wrote as she journeyed through her pursuit of becoming whole. She didn't know when she would be free, but she knew the Jesus she read about in the Bible was more than capable of setting her free. Emptied will change your life- one poem at a time.

Destiny realized that before she could be filled by God, He first would have to empty her of everything that was not like Him.
