Gingerbread

Gingerbread: Bilingual Norwegian-English Christmas Stories for Kids is the second book in a structured 52-story language-learning system designed to help young readers at pre-intermediate A2 level develop their Norwegian naturally through reading.

As December continues, Emma discovers that even familiar places can hold new surprises. An advent calendar leads to an unexpected discovery, the neighbourhood bakery brings people together, and a single gingerbread biscuit teaches Emma and her friend Nora something about sharing. When the street gathers beneath the glow of Christmas lights, the simple routines of everyday life become part of something special.

Through four interconnected stories, young readers encounter Norwegian language and Christmas traditions in a familiar, engaging setting. Clear sentences, recurring vocabulary and gradually developing narratives support comprehension while allowing readers to enjoy authentic Norwegian storytelling.

Part of the Pomme Bilingual 52 Story Method, this book builds on the foundations of the first volume, helping readers grow in confidence through connected stories and meaningful repetition.
