ABOUT THE ВОOК

This Book is about a rebellious young man who has the archetypal desire to break out of the straitjacket. He criticizes mindless capitalism, which threatens to destroy nature, and the planet itself. He tries to find a balance between his being white, Jewish and partially sub Saharan African. He also attempts to balance his tendencies towards his physical appetite and his spiritual longing All this causes him to see himself as a guineapig test case of inscrutable Cosmic forces. He doesn't have peace with the pervasive corruption of his homeland Suriname. His joining this evil is meant symbolically, not literally. Of course the necessary humor is part of the portrayal of the main character also falling for the temptations. He wants to symbolize the way many go in the poor countries after gaining a university education abroad.

This book is a revised edition. The old version of Guineapig is already on Amazon.com
