Synopsis: WAITING-we all wait for something. Kids wait for summer. Teens wait for graduation. We wait for weddings, promotions, retirement. Some residents at Primrose Place Retirement Community wait for heaven and eternal life with Jesus. Sheriff Bert, however, thinks believing in heaven is foolishness. He needs solid evidence that heaven is real. And Shawn, the new veterinarian in town, has been looking for his own form of heaven, but looking in all the wrong places.

Heaven's Waiting Room uses scripture and songs to explore a range of emotions as Bert and Shawn encounter Jesus. Told with humor, yet bringing the reader to tears at times, this book reminds us that death is inevitable, but heaven is a choice. What are you waiting for?

Autobiography: Rosemary J. Fisher has recently moved to a retirement community in Columbia, Missouri. There she enjoys the writer's group, book club, UM women's circle, walks in the neighborhood, and play time with her collies at the dog park. She has published seven books since her writing journey began in 2020.
