Adventure, romance, and a touch of mystery unfold in a world where the mystical and the actual coexist. Set in the majestic Adirondack mountains, Marco Cason reunites with Chase, Maria, and Anita, leading an expedition to explore the history of the mountain wilderness, but Marco doesn't know his teammates are guardians of the fae.

Searching for clues about the past, they delve into legends and navigate ancient maps, and learn the folklore of mystical clans is based on facts, and that ancient societies inhabited the Adirondacks centuries ago. When a pixie introduces herself to one of the guardians, the expedition takes a different path. The mountain is filled with mystical clans, and their homes are under attack.

Elves, stargazers, and goliaths fill the pages as the supernatural creatures unite with members of the expedition to save the mountain from invaders whose greed is destroying their habitat. With negligent use of dynamite and disregard for nature and the environment, illegal mining has destroyed more than the habitat of the supernatural creatures. It has also cost lives.

Faced with the truth about the magical beings, Marco is forced to reevaluate everything he believed. Still, he becomes a central force when he battles beside the fae to save Heritage Mountain.

Themes of friendship, conservation, love, and acceptance are apparent, as well as a heavy dose of karma.
