I Never Cried for Mama - The Unspoken Truth

Carson Howard is a young boy who has one burning desire: to be loved. He is as exemplary in his everyday conduct as he knows how to be. This story combines two damaged individuals who with learned mutual respect manage to facilitate each other's growth.

The book, while fictionalized, is based on a compilation of Social Services reports, family interviews, newspaper articles, police reports, prison documents and interviews with Carson himself. The journey of the individuals involved, Carson and Dr. Howes, while not pleasant, is real and powerful.
