IT'S A LONG WAY BACK TO JERUSALEM

There are thousands of denominational churches worldwide. Many claim or imply to be descendants of the church you read about in the New Testament. Thousands claim to be the "restored church" Jesus promised to build in Matthew 16:13-20. Thus, the plea is to go back to Jerusalem in the first century and follow the pattern of the original church. It is a message that appeals to evangelism candidates and serves as a draw to attract members from other non-original groups. This dynamic book, in 75 essays covers the pros and cons of the plea to go back to Jerusalem to restore the original. This study examines the differences between the "original 1st Century church" and hybrids created by assembling selected Scriptures. The misuse of the word church is explored relative to how the Greek word ekklesia is not correctly translated by the English word church. This was authorized by King James. This is a study book not a name calling or sending to hell those who do not agree with some of my observations. It is a prayerful plea to study with an open mind as we go back to Jerusalem and observe witch of the 30-plus churches mentioned in the New Testament is the ONE we "must or can" restore today. Only the truth frees (John 8:32).
