Just Me & You

Lauren has loved Francis for six years.

She answered each late-night call, held him through heartbreak, fixed his clothes before dates, and welcomed him whenever loneliness brought him back to her door. Francis knew how she felt. He enjoyed being loved, then kept choosing other women.

Lauren decides twenty-four hours alone will finally make him understand.

Francis wakes tied to a chair inside her apartment. Their photographs cover the walls. Plastic protects the floor. Dinner waits on the table. Lauren has planned a private day for two, complete with his favorite meal, a sewing kit, and enough rope to keep him from leaving before he falls in love with her.
