Gerade mit den Entwicklungen zum Web 2.0 und neuen Ansätzen zum betrieblichen Lernen geraten Lernplattformen unter Druck, sich gegenüber alternativen Ansätzen beweisen zu müssen.§Der Autor Dr. Ulrich Müllner gibt umfassend Überblick über die derzeitige Nutzung von Lernplattformen und geht auf betriebliche Anforderungen ein, die an Lernplattformen gestellt werden müssen. Anhand einer Evaluation wird aufgezeigt, welche Stärken und Schwächen Lernplattformen im derzeitigen Einsatz aufweisen und welche Ansatzpunkte es gibt, Lernplattformen verbessert einzusetzen.
