Mash Jongg Posse is a work of fiction which takes place in a small town in Northern Michigan and features the lives of a group of women who meet to play Mah Jongg on a weekly basis. When new players join the group they add the layers of their own lives on the existing tapestry.

Mah Jongg Posse continues as the follow-up to Mah Jongg Confidential, focusing on a group of women who regularly gather to play Mah Jongg. The main characters include Mrs. M., who is intensely private, and Ellen, a social butterfly. Molly and Kat are the group's other regular players who are lifelong friends. Their intersecting family relationships and friendships play into the entertaining and sometimes emotional interactions that take place. The every day magic of friendship and humor of family life are continuing themes.
