Manganese II takes up where Manganese leaves off, Horatio now CEO of Port Charlotte Freight begins to restore confidence in the port and discovers the hoard of cash the 5 directors had intended to steal and Boats they had bought for themselves with company funds. Rather than go to prison Horatio allowed them to retire with just their retirement. The money and boats had to be turned in since they belonged to Tiller who had bought the company with his own funds. He told Horatio to pick a yacht from the 5 the previous directors had bought. Horatio and Peggy, Tiller's comptroller, had secretly gotten married and finally had to tell everyone since she was pregnant and soon they would know anyway.
