Metal Oxide-based nanofibers and their applications provides an in-depth overview of the developments in the synthesis, characterization of their unique properties, and applications achieved by the scientific leaders in the area. The book is divided into three main sections that cover the synthesis and its related critical aspects, and applications in topical areas. The first section deals with the theoretical and experimental aspects of the synthesis and methodologies to control microstructure, composition and shape of the nanofibrous metal oxides.
