Nephil's Destiny

Amaya Winslow was born to kill Lucifer. Born of the Archangel Gabriel and the Devil Alaria, Amaya has spent her entire life training and preparing for the moment she would face Lucifer in a battle for Earth, knowing she would eventually find herself in a position in which she would be forced to offer up her own life in pursuit of victory. Now that Lucifer's sword has been destroyed, and Beelzebub is dead, Amaya, along with Deacon, the son of the Archangel Michael, is tasked with destroying Lucifer's progeny and retrieving Aaron's Rod -- a sword forged by God on the sixth day of Creation, and the one weapon able to kill Lucifer. As Amaya and Deacon battle their way to Saint Catherine's and the entrance to the Garden of Eden, they are forced to face not only outside enemies, but the question of their own faith and how far they are willing to go to destroy Lucifer. After passing the tests to prove themselves worthy of taking up arms against Lucifer, they use the weapons they have obtained to complete their tasks leading up to the final battle. When Amaya finally faces Lucifer, knowing those she loves are fighting and dying, she fights not for herself or her family, but to ensure a future for all people free from Hell's control. In raising Aaron's Rod and taking in the power of Heaven--in giving up herself to a greater purpose and becoming all she was born to be--Amaya not only fights for the survival of herself and the ones she loves...she embraces her destiny and accepts that to win, she must be willing to die.
