This the fourth of Valerie Hansard’s books to be published by Grosvenor House Publishing within the last three years. The first was a book of short stories, followed by two novels: Knockramore and The Quarry.

On Verity’s Account is set mainly in Wanstead, East London. Verity Davis, the principal character, is approaching her eightieth birthday.
