A Little Halloween Magic. A Mischievous Pumpkin. And One Very Important Bell!

Halloween in Mossbridge is supposed to be perfectly planned.

Seven-year-old Nell Parker has been given an important job: she is the bell-ringer for the town's Halloween parade. All she has to do is ring the brass bell once at sunset to wake the magical Welcome Pumpkin and lead everyone through town.

Simple, right?

Not quite.

One tiny accident sends a single ding! through the square-and suddenly the Welcome Pumpkin's eyes begin to glow, its little orange feet pop out, and Halloween comes to life much earlier than it should!

With her best friend Toby-who is currently tangled up in his enormous bat wings-Nell must figure out what the mischievous pumpkin is up to before anyone notices that the parade has started too soon.
