In the forest of Shanti, civilization rests upon an unshakeable dogma: the Perfect Circle. Through the Golden Word, the Druids command nature to bend to beauty, concealing the horror that consumes itself in the darkness of the roots.

Armin is the perfect soloist of this forced symphony. The pride of his lineage, the prodigy everyone expects to see triumph. Yet inside him, where light should pulse, a claustrophobic silence echoes.

At the Summer Solstice, before thousands of eyes, the Trial of the Mountain delivers a spectral verdict. The staff drawn by Armin does not glow, does not sing, has no color: it is a twisted, grey simulacrum that absorbs light instead of reflecting it. The verdict of the Sages is an execution: Armin is a Renegade.

Banished from everything he loves, isolated by a sanitary cordon of fear and shame, Armin is swallowed by the darkness of the Wild Undergrowth. But in the void of the deep forest, the silence has begun to take notes again. And what is about to rise back to the surface does not seek forgiveness, but the end of the choir.
