Innerhalb der Software-Entwicklung und des späteren Betriebes einer Software spielen das Requirements Engineering und das Change Managements eine gewichtige Rolle, die derzeit noch in vielen IT- Projekten unterschätzt wird. Dem Requirements Engineering wird in dieser Arbeit das Hauptaugenwerk gewidmet. Im ersten Kapitel dieser Arbeit wird die Aufgabenstellung und Zielsetzung dieser Arbeit erläutert. Der theoretische Teil zum Requirements Engineering erfolgt im zweiten Teil. Hier wird eine Einordnung des Themas vorgenommen und verschiedene Sichtweisen auf das Requirements Engineering erläutert. Über eine umfassende Literaturanalyse werden die ermittelten Best Practises konzeptionell dargestellt und am Beispiel des Projektes FIT in der Praxis erprobt. Anschließend erfolgt eine Bewertung der eingesetzten Methode. Im dritten Teil der Arbeit wird eine geeignete Vorgehensweise in Form eines Konzeptes für das Requirements Engineering erarbeitet und im vierten Kapitel am Beispiel des Projektes FIT umgesetzt.
