Revival Fire in Appalachia

Revival Fire in Appalachia is not just a historical account of a time gone past. It's not just an old story without weight or merit. It's an open invitation for an encounter with The True and Living God. Time has a way of repeating itself and God is calling out in this hour for those who desire that deep, intimate relationship with Him to come and burn for Him.

Revival Fire in Appalachia is about the power and the presence of Our Holy God moving in to a region and upon a people and transforming lives. In 1896, life was hard in Appalachia; the land was rugged, and there wasn't much happening in these mountains, until the Almighty God began to stir and move among His people, birthing a powerful movement in the foothills of the region.

It took place in a little one-room schoolhouse called the "Shearer Schoolhouse." The revival came after years of faithful prayer and contending. Lives were transformed, people were awakened, baptized in the Holy Spirit and set on fire for God. But it came with a price, as it always does. Persecution came. People were banned from churches, pulled from their beds at night and whipped, shot, beat up and houses were burned, their church was even destroyed and burned, yet God continued to move and lives continued to change.

No where in the Word does God ever authorize or encourage Christians to be passive or lukewarm. There's no place for that in His Kingdom. He hates passivity and complacency. He wants you fully surrendered and on fire for Him. That fire that God ignited in Appalachia in 1896, has brought forth much fruit and it's still bearing fruit today.

When God wants to put His mark or His brand on someone or some place, He uses fire. God marked Appalachia for a move of His Holy Spirit and Fire and He is looking for some burning ones today too. He wants to awaken His Warriors and set them on fire for Him. He has need of you and He is waking up His Bride and calling her up for battle. This book is a clarion call for the people of God to rise up and step into their calling. You have been marked, called and summoned by His Holy Fire. Get ready. Your life is about to change.

Revival Fire in Appalachia will challenge your faith and your walk. It will stir you up to seek hard after the God of Love-God of Fire who is creator of all. He wants to draw you to Himself and set you on fire for Him.
