The year is 2045 - as if civil unrest, climate change, and mass poverty weren''t bad enough, the world has witnessed the rise of a new breed of technological robber barons who every month unleash new horrors seemingly beyond the reach of law. The federal government creates a task force of militarised police, including specialists in reconnaissance, intelligence, operations and tactics and gives them carte blanche to keep the simmering stew pot of domestic unrest from boiling over.
