Sanctum

The darkness has to go somewhere.

At Mitchell Psychiatric Hospital, Ethan Thomas has a secret job no patient would believe. As a Siphoner, he absorbs fear, grief, rage, and despair from the people around him-and pays for it with his own body.

The darkness builds inside him, bringing pain, euphoria, addiction, and eventually death unless he passes it on.

Then Ethan meets Anelia Santos.

Around her, the noise inside him goes silent. For the first time in his life, he feels peace. But Anelia is more than a mystery. She may be a legendary Sanctum-a rarity powerful enough to change everything Siphoners understand about their world.

Ethan isn't the only one who notices.

His closest friend, psychiatrist Julian Mercer, becomes increasingly obsessed with studying Anelia, convinced that understanding her could change everything. Meanwhile, Ethan's former lover, Lila Sinclair, returns carrying the temptation of an addiction they once shared.

Inside a hospital built on secrets, the line between healing and control begins to disappear.

Caught between love, addiction, loyalty, and a power he can barely control, Ethan must decide what he's willing to become to protect the one person who makes the darkness stop.

Some darkness cannot be destroyed. Only transferred.
