The issue of self-harm which always starts with the urges has been neglected by the scientific community and the public in Nigeria. So, there a gross dearth of scientific information and treatment for those who are prone this problem in prison and general populations. This Book therefore empirically identified those who experienced self-harm urges among inmates of a Nigerian prison and investigated possible psychological and criminological causes.
