This collaborative book presents recent trends and new interdisciplinary links arising from the study of sequences, including combinatorics on words and symbolic dynamics, and group and number theory, with attention given to their bridges to theoretical computer science. There are four parts in which researchers discuss their areas of interest: number theory and sequences, word combinatorics, normal numbers, and group theory.
