"What's mine is mine but what's yours is negotiable." When Creed Peerless first heard the line it was spoken as a joke. He had laughed but the concept of the phrase tugged at his mind, and his thinking changed as a result. He adopted it as his personal philosophy and applied it to his business life and the results were encouraging, but full understanding finally came when he became aware of a San Francisco Mobster who was victimizing some of his clients. This man was living the concept. Creed knew that he was not like this man for he was kind and considerate and had a deep sense of duty to protect those less able to defend themselves. He saw in this man however, a conduit to increase his own cash flow and set about relieving him of his illicit funds. Creeds main problem in life was that he became easily bored with the status quo, but one of the few things that combated this boredom was to engage in dangerous ventures. It occurred to him that a fortune could be made hijacking truckloads of goods in the Eastern United States to be sold in the West. He also realized that hijacking presented him with the potential for a life of high adventure, and great risk and it fit his philosophy to the tee. Here is the story of a man born out of his time for he would have made the perfect pirate.
