Sue-Ellen performs her dance on a bucking bronco, the strip ends with a loud bang and a cloud of smoke. The bang is made by a firework. A piece of the firework shoots into the air and ignites a piece of old curtain above the stage. The roof catches alight. Part of the roof collapses trapping the 5 girls in their changing room. They are rescued thanks to the old soldiers: Major Sourpuss and his batman Freddy. They raised the alarm and told the firemen that the girls were trapped in their changing room but they should be able to get out using the fire-door at the back.
