The Communication Champions Quest

The Confident Communicators Club has practised first conversations, careful listening, clear expression, friendship repair, assertiveness, teamwork and public speaking. Now a gold envelope gives them a final challenge where no single skill is enough.

Shantivan Community Centre is in trouble. Children, teenagers, parents, volunteers and older residents all care about the same small space - but they want different things, distrust parts of the process and keep surprising one another with changes. With funding on the line, the club has one week to listen to the community, uncover the real needs beneath complaints, design a workable plan, repair a message that goes wrong, protect the project from overpromising, manage their own disagreements, include quieter voices and present the result at a public forum.

When rain, pressure, missing equipment and hard questions arrive, the final quest becomes a test of something larger than confidence: choosing the right communication skill for the moment. A warm, funny, story-led finale for children ages 8-12 about empathy, clarity, boundaries, collaboration, problem-solving, leadership and making a difference together.
