The Dance Hall on the Third Floor

She is beautiful and fabulous, and I am so grateful I was able to meet her.

So you're probably wondering... who is she? Why am I so grateful I met her?

Let me run it back.

A fabulous twenty-nine-year-old woman who healed herself - and now draws into her life pretty much everything she ever wants.

Life eventually led her to the dance hall on the third floor... and that's where the magic began.

Her shoes fit just right, as if her prince charming had slipped them on himself.

The spotlights still burn - or should I say sting - her skin, because of course she's still healing while dancing in comfortable heels.

Choosing the tracks she wants to vibe with from the DJ booth.

Sitting some out. Toasting with her girls. And then... at some point, she owns the floor.

She stands in the spotlight. The cheering comes. The applause. The standing ovation.

The congratulations - yes, Elaine, you made it this far.

Not from the crowd watching her dance...

It rises from within - from every version of her that survived to get here.

Right there, she realizes: She deserves this spot on this third floor.

And it's time to live her new life - the best way she can.
