The Ocean Incubator Network Learning Toolkit

This open access book is designed to enhance ocean literacy through diverse research, educational and interdisciplinary approaches. It focuses on a number of critical themes, including: an exploration of positionality, emphasizing the importance of acknowledging one's own perspective in ocean-related research and advocacy; the nuances of trans-cross and interdisciplinarity in ocean studies, advocating for a systemic approach to understanding oceanic phenomena; a model for collaborative research and project development methods. The authors also include practical components such as a mapping of student-led projects on Ocean Literacy and a chapter dedicated to activities that can be implemented to promote understanding and engagement with oceanic themes.
