What does it really mean to say, "To live is Christ, and to die is gain"?

Christianity does not promise a life without suffering. It points us instead to Christ, who entered suffering Himself and to the resurrection, which declares that suffering and death do not have the final word.

When circumstances change, Christ remains.
When understanding fails, Christ remains.
When I fall, grace calls me back.

And when fear asks, "What if?" faith learns to answer:

"Even if."

Until then, the calling remains:

To die is gain. Until then, to live is Christ.
