TJ Turtle and the Two Paths

Two paths. One big choice. And one little turtle with a lot to learn.

TJ Turtle and his best friend, Roddy Rabbit, are out for an adventure when they come to a fork in the road.

One path is wide, smooth, exciting, and filled with fun. The other is narrow, steep, rocky, and looks much harder.

For Roddy, the choice seems obvious. Why take the difficult road when the easy one looks so much better?

TJ isn't so sure.

While Roddy races down the wide path toward music, flowers, and giant carrots, TJ chooses the narrow path marked "HOME." His journey isn't always easy. The road is rough, the gate is tight, and TJ even has to leave his beloved snack pack behind! But step by step, TJ keeps going-and eventually discovers that the harder path was leading somewhere wonderful all along.

Inspired by Jesus' words in Matthew 7:13-14, TJ Turtle and the Two Paths uses colorful adventure, playful humor, and memorable characters to help children understand an important biblical truth: the easiest and most popular path is not always the path that leads to life.
