In this book, children who are afraid of water are encouraged to dip into the underwater world and have fun. In small steps they learn to exhale correctly and open their eyes underwater. Once their fear is overcome, there are lots of games and exercises that are great fun - so it's hard to get them out of the water!

Children who are not confident to go underwater must first learn that the water will not "damage" them. Splashing is uncomfortable for them and they wipe splashes away immediately, which gets in the way of good swimming. It is important to proceed cautiously to get them used to going underwater. The child should never be forced or pushed into the water as fear is a poor teacher. The aim is for them to overcome their fear and carry out the exercises voluntarily. Child-oriented illustrations inspire the child to copy the exercises, and they will quickly experience success!
